Introduction
Most studio subs still ask you to set crossover and phase by ear with two knobs on the back. ADAM Audio's Sub PRO line, announced in Berlin on 8 October 2026, treats the sub as part of a calibrated system instead. Both models plug into Ethernet, show up in the new ADAM Control software next to A Series monitors, and accept calibration profiles from Sonarworks SoundID Reference straight into their DSP.
The Sub8 PRO uses an 8″ driver and reaches 26 Hz (-6 dB). The Sub10 PRO steps up to a 10″ driver and 21 Hz. Both run a 200 W RMS Class D amp, a front-firing FEA-optimised port, AES3 plus XLR/TRS combo inputs, and three modes: Stereo, LFE for Dolby Atmos, and Wide for full-range use.
They sit above the existing Sub8 and Sub10 MK2 rather than replacing them. If you only need bass extension under a stereo pair, the classic subs still do that. If you want the sub inside your calibration chain, this is the line that does it.

And the Sub8 PRO:
Key Features & Benefits
- Calibrate from your chair: ADAM Control over Ethernet sets gain, phase, delay (0 to 10 ms) and 4 bands of parametric EQ, and handles firmware updates.
- Run your room profile on the sub: SoundID Reference filters are deployed to the sub's own DSP, the same approach ADAM uses on the A Series.
- Stay digital: XLR AES3 input and output up to 24-bit/96 kHz, plus 2 XLR/TRS combo inputs and 2 XLR outputs for analog rigs.
- Go immersive: LFE mode (<120 Hz) is tailored to Dolby Atmos systems; Wide mode uses the sub's full range.
- Keep it clean at volume: port curvature modelled with Finite Element Analysis for even air speed and less turbulence.
- Toggle bass management on the fly: TRS footswitch bypass input (footswitch not included).
Real-World Reactions
“Overall, with its well-constructed wooden cabinets and metal grilles, the Sub PRO is built for daily professional use and is the natural expansion for A Series users.”

We agree on the A Series point. If you already run A4V, A7V or A8H monitors, one app now manages the whole system, and that's the real upgrade here, more than raw output.

Who It's For
- A Series owners who want the sub calibrated in the same app as their monitors
- Producers in small and mid-sized rooms who need to trust the sub-bass in their mixes (Sub8 PRO for desks and compact rooms, Sub10 PRO when you need the lowest octave)
- Post, game audio and Atmos rooms that need a networked, calibratable LFE channel with AES3
Who should look elsewhere:
- Anyone wiring a sub to consumer gear over RCA. There are no RCA inputs, so the Adam Audio Sub8 (€679) or T10S (€399) is the simpler fit.
- Stereo setups that just need more bass and no calibration workflow. The Sub10 MK2 (€1,199) stays in the range for that.

- Weight: 15.3 kg (Sub8 PRO) / 22.8 kg (Sub10 PRO)
Pros & Cons
✅ Pros:
- Network calibration with ADAM Control and SoundID Reference on board
- AES3 digital I/O alongside analog XLR/TRS
- LFE and Wide modes ready for immersive and full-range systems
- Deep extension for the cabinet size (26 Hz / 21 Hz)
⚠️ Cons:
- No RCA or unbalanced consumer inputs
- Full calibration needs a networked computer, and a measurement mic for SoundID Reference

Final Thoughts
The Sub PRO line isn't about more bass, it's about bass you can measure and correct. Pick the Sub8 PRO for a desk or a compact room, the Sub10 PRO when the room is bigger or the lowest octave matters. Either way, if your monitors are already in ADAM Control, this is the sub that finally joins them.
