sE Electronics V8 MC1 – V8 Sound for Shure Wireless

The sE Electronics V8 MC1 is a wireless vocal capsule that puts the new DMCV8 dynamic capsule onto Shure-compatible handheld transmitters. Swap the stock head and your wireless mic gets the same polished, detailed vocal sound and tight supercardioid pickup as the wired V8. At Soundium it is the simplest way to upgrade a wireless rig you already own.

Key Features

• Shure compatible: Screws onto Shure-compatible handheld wireless transmitters in place of the original capsule.
• DMCV8 capsule: More clarity and natural detail, with a vocal sound that feels finished before EQ.
• Tight supercardioid pattern: Strong off-axis rejection keeps monitors and the band out of the vocal channel.
• Patented integrated shock mount: Reduces handling noise when the singer moves around the stage.
• All-metal housing and spring-steel grille: Built to survive touring, with a beveled ring that stops the mic rolling.
• Gold-plated connector: Dependable contact with the transmitter show after show.

Customer Benefits

Wireless handhelds often ship with a capsule that is fine but forgettable. The V8 MC1 gives a wireless singer the same sound as the wired V8: a crisp top end, controlled mids and a rounded low end that stays true to the voice. Engineers can run wired and wireless V8s side by side and keep the vocal tone consistent across the band. Pick matte Black for a discreet look or Graphite Grey with a fingerprint-resistant finish.

Pros & Cons

✅ Pros:

• Brings the V8 sound to an existing wireless system
• Very good isolation and gain before feedback
• Low handling noise and a tough metal build

⚠️ Cons:

• Capsule only, so you need a compatible Shure wireless handheld transmitter
• Does not fit Sennheiser transmitters; choose the V8 MC2 for those

The V8 MC1 is the quickest way to give a Shure wireless handheld a premium vocal sound. Order it from Soundium in matte Black or Graphite Grey, or pick the wired V8 if you also need a cabled mic with the same character.
