Rega AOS MC – Moving Coil Phono Preamplifier

The Rega AOS MC is a high-performance moving coil phono preamplifier designed to extract maximum detail and realism from vinyl playback. Based on the design of Rega’s reference Aura MC stage, it delivers precise RIAA equalisation, low noise performance, and fully adjustable loading for a wide range of moving coil cartridges. Built with a pure analogue signal path and housed in a robust aluminium chassis, the AOS MC is engineered for accurate, transparent sound reproduction, available at Soundium.

Key Features

• Dedicated Moving Coil Phono Stage: Designed specifically for MC cartridges with high gain and low noise performance.
• Fully Adjustable Loading: Selectable resistive and capacitive loading for optimal cartridge matching.
• Pure Analogue Circuit Design: No digital control circuitry for a clean and direct signal path.
• Class A Amplifier Stages: Two-stage analogue design ensures detailed and natural sound reproduction.
• Low Noise FET Input Stage: Parallel FET configuration minimizes noise and preserves cartridge integrity.
• RIAA Precision Equalisation: Accurate frequency response for faithful vinyl playback.
• Automatic Standby Mode: Reduces power consumption when not in use.

Customer Benefits

The AOS MC enhances vinyl playback by delivering greater clarity, depth, and tonal accuracy.
